Volkswagen Group uses Audi brand to catch up with Tesla in electric vehicle production

Thus, Audi was commissioned to develop and distribute software and components for the new electric vehicles among all 12 brands owned by Volkswagen.

In addition, it became known that Audi will manage the Car.Software department, which will develop a unified operating system for cars of all brands owned by Volkswagen. The new team is expected to lead the concern to a victory over the American Tesla, both technologically and financially.
