The implementation of the battery cars for the designated time period should be equal to 22 million cars. Until recently, the manufacturer intended to produce 50 electric vehicles by 2025, and realize 15 million.
The management of the Volkswagen Group believes that the transition to the production of electrified vehicles will reduce the average carbon dioxide emissions by 30% by 2025 and by 40% by 2030.
The debut of eco-friendly foreign cars will be: Audi e-tron, the implementation of which in the European Union countries will start this month, and Porsche Taycan, whose public display is scheduled for the beginning of autumn. Then a hatchback called I.D. and electrocross I.D. Crozz, as well as their relatives under the brands Skoda and Seat, for example, the hatch Seat el-Born, designed on the modular platform MEB.
This electric vehicle with a unit capacity of 2014 horsepower is able to overcome without the need for recharging about 420 km of the path of the WLTP cycle. To charge the battery by 80 percent, you will need to spend 47 minutes.
Last year, sales of plug-in machines around the world, including electric cars and hybrids, reached 2.1 million. Of these, 69% were electric vehicles. The largest number of cars, namely 1.182 million, found their owners in the territory of the Middle Kingdom. In the second place were the EU countries with an indicator of 409 thousand.
