
Volkswagen Golf becomes the best-selling European in July

Experts of the analytical agency published data on the best-selling cars in Europe in July this year. Leadership in the rating was returned to itself by the compact German car Volkswagen Golf, which sold 31,169 copies (-3%). The second place was taken by the leader in May and June Renault Clio – the brand’s dealers were able to sell 25,054 such cars. At the same time, the growth in demand for the model grew by 26%, and 89% of sales fell on the new generation.
The “bronze” of the rating goes to the Czech Skoda Octavia with a score of 22,569 units. and sales growth of 18%. The compact Peugeot 208 became the fourth (20 520 units, + 19%), and the Renault Captur crossover (20 361 units, + 39%) complements the TOP-5. The fourth position goes to the French Peugeot 2008, which was chosen by 20,006 European residents. It was this model that showed the best dynamics among the leaders – plus 56%.
In seventh place is the Volkswagen T-Roc popular among Europeans, which sold 19,977 units last month. (+ 12%).
Opel / Vauxhall Corsa (19 902 units, + 3%) took the eighth place in the rating.
It was followed by Dacia Sandero (19,219 units, -8%), and the Volkswagen Tiguan crossover (19,204 units, -3%) closes the top ten of the most popular cars in Europe.
