Back in 2017, Volkswagen introduced the harbinger of an all-electric van from the ID line. The concept model was introduced under the name Volkswagen ID. Buzz, and embodied a modern look at the rethought design of the wagons of the middle of the last century. Now the brand is preparing for the large-scale launch of its own electric cars.
The production version of the concept can be presented as early as 2021 under the name Volkswagen ID.7. There is no detailed information yet, but preliminary data are already available. The model will receive a twin-engine layout with a total power of up to 364 horsepower (the concept was equipped with such an installation). Thanks to two motors, an intelligent all-wheel drive system was implemented.
According to preliminary information, the production van will receive several modifications with different power reserve, different power and functions. In addition, various configurations will be available for them.
