Vietnamese VinFast will show models in Paris on the platform Magna SteyrOctober 1, 2018
As long as one day remains before the official opening of the Paris Motor Show, the Vietnamese company VinFast is trying to create an impression of itself at the level of international concerns. And this is not surprising, because she will have to enter the oversaturated market.
In the framework of the Paris Motor Show, Vietnamese company VinFast will make its international debut. And now the company is conducting an aggressive marketing campaign, and is making every effort to match the level of automotive giants. And the company will be the first in the world from Vietnam, which went beyond its country.
As already mentioned earlier, in Paris tomorrow there will be presented not one, but two models: an SUV and a sedan, whose names are not yet reported. Until now, VinFast does not disclose the details of its cars, except for a few teaser images and scant details about the technical part.
Now it became known that the cars will be built on a completely new platform, developed by order of the Austrian company Magna Steyr. It should be noted that the company is very famous and authoritative in the automotive segment, and at least 400 engineers worked on the platform.
In addition, Magna has integrated modern ECU systems from Bosch. That is, most of the electronics will be produced by a German company. More information, in addition to the fact that the body will use a large number of light alloy aluminum alloys and heavy-duty steel.
In order to convince future European consumers of reliability and safety, more than 300 prototypes are being thoroughly tested on the roads of Europe and Asia. We expect that detailed information will be available tomorrow, after a public demonstration of the crossover and sedan.
It is also worth noting that the design of cars was developed by the famous studio Pininfarina, and was chosen by public vote among 40 other design options.
