It became known that on the home market a powerful modification of the VinFast President SUV, which received its own name, is expected to be released soon.
The car differs from the basic version of the SUV not only in its unit, but also in design. The top version of the Lux SA2.0 crossover, which has the name President, the Vietnamese company VinFast began to declassify last month, at the same time the first teasers were published. Note that at the beginning of this month, several full-fledged corporate images appeared, and a little later the new version was shown in a promotional video. The company has officially announced that the VinFast President will be powered by a V8 6.2 gasoline engine.
Note that the VinFast Lux SA2.0 SUV was assembled on the licensed platform of the old BMW X5 (F15). The base model is equipped with a gasoline “turbo four” 2.0 with a capacity of 228 hp, which was developed on the basis of the block N20, this engine functions in conjunction with the 8-speed automatic transmission ZF. As for the power of the V8 6.2 of the serial President, the company has not yet named it, however, most likely, the output will be the same as that of last year’s show model, namely 455 hp.
