Vandals left no living space on the rare and expensive PorscheJune 4, 2020
In California, USA, a very rare and expensive Porsche 911 suffered during the protests. The vandals mutilated the car and left no living space on it.
The tracked Porsche 911 GT3 RS stands abandoned in downtown Beverly Hills and looks depressing. The car has broken windows, a spoiler and rear-view mirrors, a lot of scratches and dents. In addition, throughout the body, the looters inscribed with spray paint.
What happened to the owner of this expensive luxury sports car is unknown. At some point in the video, one of the eyewitnesses stated that the car does not have a key – it is possible that the owner escaped from the scene of the crime, holding the key so that the car could not be stolen.
However, in fact, there is no need to return to the owner: given the damage, the car is easier to dispose of or to disassemble than to restore. Such a sports car costs about $ 200,000, and many rare and expensive parts are used in its design, so its repair will cost a lot.
By the way, such cases in the USA are not uncommon in recent days amid mass unrest. As we already wrote, last week a group of people broke into one of the dealerships of Mercedes-Benz in California and destroyed several cars. And at the FCA dealership, more than 80 cars were stolen.
