Urban hatch new generation Honda Jazz will be only a hybridMarch 30, 2019
Already in the third quarter of 2019, the company will present a new version of its model. While the car passes road tests, some details have already become known, including parts of power units.
Honda, like other global brands, is committed to electrifying its models. Already by 2025, the entire European line of the brand will be electrified to one degree or another. Moreover, the sales results of the CR-V hybrid crossover fully satisfied the company, generating up to 60% of European sales. Already this year, the company will present a new generation of compact Honda Jazz hatchback, which will become a real hybrid without alternatives only with the engine.
Judging by the spy photos, Honda Jazz 2020 model year will retain its dimensions, as well as the design concept, not counting some modern changes. The shape of the headlamps will become more rounded, and the vertical lights will be horizontal. The interior will be replenished with a multimedia system of a new version with a large digital display, as well as a new digital instrument panel.
As for the power unit, its scheme will be similar to the CR-V: one engine and two electric motors. Details are not yet known, but the power reserve on electricity will have to be about 50 km.
