Updated Volkswagen Tiguan Revealed on Official TeaserApril 17, 2020
Information about the new Volkswagen Tiguan on the Web appeared regularly and very dosed. Now, the manufacturer finally decided to please the fans with the first official image of the future news.
Volkswagen unveils an intriguing teaser for its updated Tiguan crossover. Judging by the image that got on the Web, the outwardly popular German SUV will receive a number of notable cosmetic improvements. This is a redesigned grille, upgraded LED optics, a new front bumper with “grown” air intakes, a different form of DRL, a modified logo and more. By the way, the updated Golf and Passat have already tested the new logo on themselves.
Also, as previously reported, the new product will receive advanced multimedia MIB3, supporting today’s update “over the air.” In addition, experts expect to see a different steering wheel and new trim materials in the next Volkswagen Tiguan saloon.
In general, the novelty should receive a more sporty style, oriented to the road. There is no official information on the technical part. It is assumed that the brand will retain its most popular power plants, adding to them more environmentally friendly engines and today’s hybrids. Four-wheel drive is likely to be offered as an option. The debut of the updated crossover is promised to be organized this summer. In American car dealerships, a novelty is expected by the end of the year.
