The British office of Toyota presented the simplest modification of the updated SUV Land Cruiser Prado. The version, which received the name Utility, was described by the automaker as a “workhorse”.

The basic version of the “Prado” will be offered in the UK as a three- and five-door body. For it, only one engine is available: a 2.8-liter diesel, which develops 177 horsepower. On the three-door variant it is combined with a mechanical gearbox, and on a five-door version – with it or automatic transmission.

The list of standard equipment Toyota Land Cruiser Prado Utility (in the UK model simply called Land Cruiser Utility) includes 17-inch steel wheels, keyless access, cruise control, air conditioning, assistants, and roof rails.

Prices for a three-door SUV start at 32,795 pounds sterling, and on a five-door – from 34,095 pounds.

The premiere of the updated off-road car took place in September 2017 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The model changed appearance and the overall length increased. At the same time, the Prado has retained the frame, a permanent all-wheel drive and forced interlocks of the predecessor.
