In this form, the model will appear on the South American market.
The representation of Renault in South America published the first official images of the Sandero restyling who survived. With the update, the hatchback will acquire a corrected appearance and keep the “charged” version of the R.S.
The Sandero 2020 slightly changed outwardly, in particular, received taillights with additional sections in the style of Megane, and the Renault nameplate increased in size. In addition, the grille and bumpers have been easily upgraded.
In South America, the updated Sandero will be offered with the same engines: a 79-horsepower petrol engine, an 82-horsepower unit based on ethanol, and a 1.6 SCe engine with a return of 115 or 118 power. The transmission is a five-speed manual gearbox and a variator that replaces the Easy’R robotized transmission.
As for the “charged” Sandero R.S., it is equipped with an “aspirated” two-liter capacity, giving out 145 horsepower, or an ethanol engine (150 forces). With this installation, the hatchback is gaining the first 100 km/h in 8.4 seconds, and the maximum speed is 200 kilometers per hour. Externally, the “charged” Sandero can be distinguished from the usual in the darkened sections of the rear lights and the R.S.
