The restyled Opel Insignia family has received new petrol and diesel engines in Europe.
The main addition is the new 2.0-liter turbo engine, which is available for both the Insignia Grand Sport liftback and the Insignia Sports Tourer station wagon. This unit develops 168 hp. and 350 Nm of torque. The new 2.0-liter engine, which works in conjunction with a 9-speed automatic transmission, allows the model to accelerate to 100 km / h in 8.7 seconds and accelerate to a maximum of 228 km / h. The consumption of this installation is 6 – 6.4 liters per 100 km of track.
Another new engine is a 2.0-liter diesel mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission that produces 172 hp. (380 Nm). This engine provides acceleration to the first 100 kph in 8.9 seconds and a top speed of 223 km / h. By the way, this installation is more economical than a gasoline turbo engine – 5.1 liters per 100 kilometers.
Opel emphasizes that both engines meet Euro 6d standards. Note that in Germany the price of Insignia with a new turbo engine starts from 38,919 euros, and the version with a diesel engine starts from 41,534 euros.
In addition, the presentation of the updated Opel Mokka took place quite recently. It should be emphasized that the novelty of the German company was built on the CMP platform, as a result of which the new model became shorter by 125 mm (4155) of its predecessor.
