Updated Nissan Navara has lost all its camouflageOctober 18, 2020
The frame pickup Nissan Navara, also known in some countries as the Frontier, has appeared in new spy photos. This time we managed to capture the car without a protective film.
After the update, the Nissan Navara pickup has changed not only in terms of appearance, but also in terms of available options – the Japanese automaker has prepared more useful “helpers” for customers. In addition, in some regions, the pickup will receive a modern diesel with a twin turbocharging of 2.3 liters. The appearance of new items, by the way, is expected already this year.
In spy photos we see the new Nissan Navara without any camouflage: stylish LED optics, redesigned bumpers, a more massive radiator grille, etc. It is possible that a special off-road modification will join the standard pickup. Such a pickup will get rid of chrome in the finish, get a spectacular plastic body kit around the entire perimeter of the body and much more, which will help to identify on the road it is the Nissan Navara for off-road. The motor range of the newest car will be different for each regional market where this model is presented.
For example, in the Asia-Pacific region, the floor of the pickup hood will hide a 2.3-liter turbodiesel with a capacity of 190 horses, combined with a 7-speed automatic transmission.
The new engine will take the place of the previous 2.5-liter diesel engine. Thailand may become the debut market for the updated Nissan Navara / Frontier. Next year, the new car will reach the North American region. But in our country, a new Nissan pickup is definitely not worth waiting for. The brand decided to focus on local crossovers.
