Updated Mercedes-Benz S-Class spotted during testsJuly 10, 2020
Carscoops posted spy shots of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class concept with almost no masking.
The captured prototype has a black body tint and a bit of camouflage film in front and behind. First of all, a more athletic front part and angular-shaped stern catches the eye in comparison with the outgoing model.
In addition, you can pay attention that the prototype has retractable door handles. At the same time, judging by the early photos, the model will be offered with traditional handles. Consequently, the basic equipment of the novelty will receive ordinary door handles, and the flagship – retractable.
As for the interior of the novelty, there have been dramatic changes. A large dashboard with 3D effect and a 12.8-inch screen of the MBUX infotainment complex will appear here, which will be integrated into a single unit. In addition, improvements have been made and displays for rear passengers.
The restyled S-Class, which will be built on the rear-wheel drive platform of the MRA II, will acquire a third-level autopilot system, active suspension and much more.
Details about the engine line have not yet been disclosed, but it is already known that the German company will offer hybrid versions of the updated S-Class.
In addition, the Mercedes-Benz G-Class G 500 Cabriolet from Mansory recently appeared on sale. For this car, the tuning company asks for 455,900 euros
