Updated Lexus LS goes on saleNovember 19, 2020
Sales of the premium sedan began in the Japanese car market. The new Lexus LS received a refreshed exterior, a hybrid engine and improved electronics.
The Japanese company Lexus announced the start of sales of the updated LS sedan. At first, the new product will be available only in the home car market. From the exterior, we note the appearance of adaptive headlights, as well as a different radiator grille and a slightly modified front bumper. The latter was changed for the installation of the sensor of the semi-autonomous driving system.
The interior uses the highest quality leather for finishing. The front panel has received an unusual appearance due to the shape of the air ducts. We see a minimum of physical buttons, and a multimedia system with a 12.3-inch high-definition screen has become a real decoration. There are separate displays for rear passengers.
In the Japanese car market, the car will receive two variants of the power plant. The first will be a 3.5-liter V6 turbo engine capable of 422 hp. The Lexus LS with a hybrid engine will also go on sale, the total output of which will reach 359 hp.
Note that for the hybrid version, the transmission has been slightly modified, which will have a positive effect on the dynamics of the car.
The prices are already known – dealers ask for 11 million 140 thousand yen for the starting configuration. Those wishing to purchase a hybrid version will have to pay already 12 million 600 yen.
