Updated KIA Stinger unveiled on official photosAugust 12, 2020
The 2021 model has received a number of cosmetic improvements. With their help, the Korean brand is going to increase sales of Stinger. On the home market, the novelty is expected in the 3rd quarter of this year.
Before the market debut at home, the updated KIA Stinger finally appeared before the public without camouflage. Outside of Korea, the model will also be sold, but a little later.
The “refreshed” Stinger gets a new head optics on LEDs with a multifaceted reflector and built-in DRLs. New headlights decided to darken, which goes well with the sporty style of the Korean sedan. At the stern, new headlights flaunt, linked by an LED strip. Here there was a place for turn signals with an original pattern.
Also, the novelty relies on new wheels – they are aluminum in 18 and 19 inches. The mufflers are larger and have a bright silver tint. At the same time, the brand has prepared two exterior design options for different regional markets. So, one of them implies a dark design: edging for “black gloss”, black muffler tips, the same shade of the nameplate on the tailgate, etc.
The car has a new multimedia with a large screen. Also, the novelty got a spectacular contrasting stitching on the dashboard and doors. The center console is trimmed with aluminum or carbon. The interior lighting works in 64 shades at once, and the steering wheel in its lower part received a metal insert. The colors and materials used in the interior design may also vary from country to country.
In general, the novelty turned out to be comfortable and elegant, and its design resembles graceful cars in the style of gran turismo.
Meanwhile, the serial Genesis GV70 was shown in new spy photos. This is the second crossover of the Korean premium brand, which differs from its predecessor in more compact dimensions. The firstborn of the brand in the SUV segment is the GV80 crossover.
