Updated Kia Cadenza will be renamedNovember 25, 2020
The first Kia model to receive the brand’s new logo will be the Cadenza sedan, known in some markets as the K7.
The Korean Car Blog reported that the Korean company is planning some changes for the upcoming sedan. To position the model at higher positions in the lineup, the brand is going to rename it. So, in the Korean market, the sedan instead of the K7 will be called the K8.
It is currently unknown if the name change for the Cadenza, which is intended for the American market, is awaiting, but it is quite possible given that the Korean manufacturer has already done this with the Optima, now referred to as K5 everywhere.
As a reminder, Kia registered the K8 name back in 2016. It is assumed that the new generation sedan will become more luxurious and will add in dimensions in comparison with the current K7 model, so it is logical that the Korean manufacturer wants to emphasize the status of the car with a new name. The novelty is expected to debut in March next year, with sales starting a few months after the premiere.
In addition, it was recently noted that an image of a new generation Kia Sportage was published on the Internet. It should be emphasized that the premiere of the novelty should take place in April next year, at the same time, the start of sales is scheduled for the end of 2021.
