The restyled version received some design changes, as well as a large number of new options.
Hyundai introduced the updated Tucson crossover, designed for the Chinese car market. For the first time, such a model appeared on the market in 2018 – its appearance resembles the style of a more dimensional Santa Fe and differs from the model presented in Russia. The length of the car is 4,545 mm with a wheelbase of 2,670 mm. In the front part, the car received a new radiator grill with horizontal sections, also there were stampings on the hood. The taillights received a new filling and were combined into a monoblock.
For the interior, better materials were used, and the filling in 2018 was at a high level. You can note the virtual dashboard and the screen of the multimedia system with a soaring effect. Buyers have access to only one version of the power plant – they became a 1.6-liter turbo engine with a return of 177 horsepower. The engine runs in tandem with a 7-band robot.
In the starting configuration, the car is equipped with a front-wheel drive system. however, for a surcharge, an option with four drive wheels is possible.
Of the technical equipment, we select the electronic “handbrake”, starting the engine with a button, adaptive cruise control, lane control and automatic braking systems, a leather interior and a panoramic roof in the maximum configuration. Prices for the new product have already been announced – for the basic version, dealers are asking for 167 00 yuan, and the maximum configuration will cost 243 000 yuan.
