Updated Hyundai Solaris 2020 reaches dealershipsOctober 15, 2019
A restyled version of the popular model at Chinese car dealerships will be available only on October 30. In the meantime, local dealers receive the first commercial vehicles.
Back in early September, an updated version of the Solaris / Verna sedan was shown at the Chengdu Chinese Motor Show. The 2020 model received a new front bumper, a massive hexagonal grille, as well as a modified head optics in the spirit of the new Elantra. The taillights are also updated and are now interconnected by a decorative insert. After the upgrade, the sedan not only changed outwardly, but also became 25 mm longer – up to 4,405 mm, but the wheelbase remained the same – 2,600 mm.
The interior of the updated Solaris / Verna now has a new front panel, on which there was a place for a widescreen multimedia touchscreen, and the driver and front passenger seats became more comfortable thanks to the pronounced lateral support.
As a motor, a single 1.4-liter aspirated engine with a capacity of 100 hp is offered, combined with a 6-speed manual transmission or automatic transmission. The cost of the updated Solaris / Verna starts at 73,900 yuan. Perhaps, according to the same scheme, Hyundai will update the Russian version of the model.
