The interior and exterior of the restyled Santa Fe resemble the Hyundai Palisade.

Previously, Hyundai Santa Fe facelift allowed us to see a “palisade-like” interior with shift-by-wire technology instead of the usual gear lever, but today we can see new headlights, also inspired by Palisade, but much more with TRL LED DRL lamps.

The Hyundai and KIA electrified range, which last year totaled 24 models, will be expanded to 44 models by 2025, including 13 hybrids, six hybrids with interchangeable modules, 23 battery-powered electric vehicles and two fuel cell electric vehicles. This year, the South Korean group will continue to increase sales of electrified models, adding hybrid and interchangeable hybrid options to its top-selling crossovers Kia Sorento, Hyundai Tucson and Hyundai Santa Fe.

Hyundai will present an updated version of Santa Fe, which, according to foreign sources, will be close to a complete modernization, as is the case with the new Grandeur, when using the same platform the wheel was increased and the design changed.

Santa Fe is a very important car for Hyundai, since it accounts for more than half of the brand’s SUV sales. Therefore, as a flagship SUV, it will be released with various powertrains, including ICE, a hybrid and a plug-in hybrid. A large wheelbase will bring the dimensions of the crossover to the dimensions of the Palisade.

The addition of a hybrid module to Santa Fe is good news for potential customers, as the hybrid powerplant will combine an electric motor with a 1.6-liter T-GDI gasoline engine, while maintaining existing diesel and gasoline engines. The hybrid modification will allow the crossover to significantly save fuel through the use of a high-capacity battery.
