
Updated Hyundai ix25 sets sales records in China
January 19, 2020The Hyundai ix25 crossover is gaining popularity. The novelty entered the local market at the end of October, and already in December the model showed a truly record result – more than 8.5 thousand units sold, which is 38% more than in the same period in 2018.
Design Hyundai ix25 2020 model year is significantly different from its predecessor. The crossover received a massive cascading grille, a “two-story” head optics and 2-section taillights, combined by an LED strip of the brake light repeater. Inside the cabin, the model has a digital instrument panel, a multimedia system with a large vertical display and a “truncated” steering wheel in a sporty style.
With the change of generation, the ix25 increased in size: the length is 4,300 mm (+30 mm), the width is 1,790 mm (+10 mm), and the wheelbase is 2,610 mm (+20 mm). The height has not changed and is still 1,622 mm.
Under the hood of the ix25 2020 model year for the Chinese market is a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine with 115 hp, which is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission or CVT.
