Updated Hyundai Grandeur shown on teaserNovember 1, 2019
A few days ago we saw the first teasers of the Hyundai Grandeur body, and today, thanks to our South Korean partner AutoPost, we have new images and information about the changes that we expect from the survivor of the updated sedan.
New images allowed us to see a new touch screen for controlling the air conditioner instead of buttons, as well as a small touchpad for controlling the screen, as in Mercedes-Benz models. Two large 12.3-inch screens are installed in the cabin – a dashboard and a multimedia complex. It is also reported that due to the increase in wheelbase, the space for rear passengers has become larger.
Hyundai calls its new design language “sensual sportiness”, and this is manifested in a sleek profile, interesting front optics that perfectly harmonize with the attractive radiator grille, which has a diamond-shaped chrome pattern. In addition, the sedan has stylish taillights that are connected by an LED strip passing through the trunk lid.
The engine range will also be updated with the new Theta 3 2.5-liter engine, which will replace the old 2.4 Theta 2. The hybrid version, which was available on the previous HG model, is likely to resume. Recall that the current version of the model debuted in 2016. Therefore, experts expect the updated Hyundai Grandeur to be presented in the summer of 2020.
