Updated Hongqi HS7 SUV goes on saleJuly 2, 2020
Compared with the previous version, the premium car received minor improvements in the exterior, new options, as well as a three-row modification for a surcharge.
Hongqi announced the start of sales of the updated SUV HS7. For the new items, the platform from the previous generation Toyota Crown SUV was used. The car turned out to be very stylish and modern – its dimensions are 5095x1989x1778 mm, and the distance between the axles reaches 2 970 mm.
Due to these indicators, the interior turned out to be very spacious, and Hongqi representatives themselves call the HS7 a competitor for the BMW X5. As a motor on a non-alternative basis, a 3.0-liter turbocharged powerplant with a capacity of 338 hp is used. It works in combination with an 8-speed automatic transmission, and an all-wheel drive system is already available in the basic version.
The SUV turned out to be very technological – we note the presence of adaptive cruise control with the function of driving through traffic jams, an all-round camera, a system for preventing frontal and side collisions, as well as an assistant when reversing.
The novelty has already reached the brand dealers in China – 349,800 yuan will have to be paid for the starting equipment, and the maximum equipment is already 459,800 yuan.
