European modification of the restyling crossover will be presented before the end of this year

The company Honda has started road tests of compact crossover HR-V. Photo-shooters managed to shoot a novelty during tests in the south of Europe. Pictures of the car were laid out by the publication Motor1. According to their data, this is a European modification of the machine, which will be presented before the end of this year.

In the photos, the crossover is presented in minimal camouflage. Judging by them, the restyling HR-V will get other bumpers, a new grille and radiator grille slightly modified optics. A chrome edging of the lanterns appears behind it.

Technical characteristics of the machine are kept secret. According to unofficial data, Honda refuses to use a 1.6-liter diesel engine. Instead, HR-V will receive a hybrid modification. The power unit of this version will include a 1.5-liter gasoline engine, an electric motor and a seven-speed automatic transmission.

Also, the crossover will be offered with the same 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 130 horsepower, which works in tandem with a manual or automatic transmission.

Last month, Honda improved the HR-V crossover for the North American market. The model received a modernized variator, an advanced all-wheel drive system, an electric power steering and additional noise insulation. Plus, the crossover will be available for the first time with a proprietary set of Honda Sensing security systems, which includes, among other things, adaptive cruise control, an active collision avoidance system, and a tracking function.
