On this day, exactly a year ago (September 26, 2018), we saw the very first prototype of the new generation Honda Fit – it was tested on public roads. Now we are publishing the latest photos of this car, which is known in some markets under the name Jazz. By the way, it has already been officially confirmed that the presentation of the production car will be held next month at the 46th Tokyo Motor Show.
In a press release published a couple of minutes ago, Honda says that “the world premiere of the all-new Fit hatchback will take place at the Tokyo auto show.” At the moment, no other details about the new product are reported.
The official statement says only that “a completely new generation of the Fit hatchback will enter the market as a vehicle that will provide passenger comfort unmatched in this class and make their everyday life even more enjoyable.”
According to rumors, the new Fit / Jazz will receive a 1.0-liter turbocharged engine with 125 hp. It is believed that in Europe Jazz will be available only with a plug-in hybrid engine – sales of such a car will begin in 2020. In terms of design, the new Fit / Jazz will have a similar shape to the current version of the model. However, the front end will be very different.
Not so long ago, our publication wrote that Honda introduced the new Breeze crossover. The new SUV is called an analogue of the current generation Honda CR-V. The novelty can already be ordered from authorized dealers of the brand in China.
