Updated Genesis G70 will retain its engine rangeJune 23, 2020
Such information was a surprise against the backdrop of the fact that the updated version of the KIA Stinger will switch to new turbo engines.
Premium Korean brand Genesis is preparing an update to its G70 sedan. The car has more than once been caught in the spy camera lenses. Not so long ago, its interior was declassified on the Web. On Tuesday, June 23, information appeared about the power plants of the new car. According to preliminary data, the new product will retain previous engines – recall that now the sedan is sold with 2- and 3.3-liter gasoline engines.
Many were waiting for the upgrade of the engine range, since the premium KIA Stinger, which is a competitor to the G70, will acquire new turbo engines with a volume of 2.5 and 3.5 liters. However, Genesis still prepared a small update – due to the changes made to the software, the Genesis G70 will get more power. The company also worked on a modification of the exhaust system to increase power. Genesis will also delight fans with a new station wagon for the G70.
From a technical point of view, the novelty should receive a four-wheel drive system and the most modern infotainment system. After the appearance of the updated car, the buyer will be able to choose from 19 different body shades. It is expected that the updated G70 will go on sale in early 2021.
