Updated BMW M5 CS officially unveiledJanuary 27, 2021
The German company BMW has demonstrated an updated model M5 CS.
Billed as the fastest and most productive production car by BMW, the M5 CS is powered by a 627 hp (750 Nm) twin-turbo V8 4.4 liter engine. Together with the engine, an 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system function. Speaking of dynamic performance, the car can accelerate to 96 km / h in 2.9 seconds and accelerate to a maximum of 306 km / h.
Since the CS is based on the M5 Competition, it has stiffer motor mounts, stiffer springs, more powerful choke bar and more. Along with this, German engineers have modernized the Dynamic Damper Control system.
The updated M5 CS is light enough thanks to carbon fiber reinforced plastics such as the hood, roof, front splitter, mirror caps, diffuser and rear spoiler. In terms of design, the novelty is distinguished by a gold grille and matching 20-inch wheels. In addition, the car has an air inlet hood and racing LED headlights with yellow illumination. In turn, the model’s color palette is limited to shades such as Brands Hatch, Frozen Brands Hatch and Frozen Deep Green.
The interior of the new car features heated carbon fiber front seats that are finished in black Merino leather with red accents and red contrast stitching. There are also two separate rear seats, an M Alcantara steering wheel, a minimalist center console and M seat belts with three-color stitching, and special illuminated M5 CS floor mats and door sill guards.
The car also comes with two 12.3-inch displays, 4-zone climate control, ambient interior lighting, wireless charging and a Harman Kardon audio system. It is worth saying that the updated M5 CS should go on sale this spring at a cost of $ 142,000
In addition, some time ago it was reported that the German company BMW wants to make its own model line easier. It should be emphasized that the planned changes will allow the German brand to maintain good profitability.
