Updated Audi SQ5 spotted without camouflageJuly 9, 2020
The cost of the updated Audi SQ5 is expected to start at $ 52,900
Just last month, the Audi Q5 2021 model year was introduced, showing a new design and improved interior technology. The Q5 facelift will soon be joined by the Sportback coupe-like model, as well as the Audi SQ5 model, which can be seen in spy photos.
The updated Audi Q5 will be equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which now has a soft hybrid system and a total power of 261 hp. and 369 Nm of torque. The SQ5 will use a 349-hp 3.0-liter turbocharged V6. and a torque of 369 Nm, which will allow the crossover to accelerate to 100 km / h in 4.7 seconds.
Judging by the photographs, the same updates that were “given” by the updated Q5 appear on the sports version of the SUV. LED headlights and grille design are more reminiscent of the S4 sedan. Audi will also offer LED headlights with Matrix technology, although they are likely to be unavailable to the US market due to safety regulations.
From the standard Audi Q5, the sporty SQ5 can be distinguished by its proprietary aluminum trim around the grill, fog lamp housings and side mirrors. Silver trim has been an indicator for the Audi S over the years, and the SQ5 continues this trend. Optionally, the Black Optic Package will be available, which will “darken” the wheels, roof rails, mirror housings and other elements.
