Updated Audi S8 spotted during winter trialsJanuary 17, 2021
Carscoops recently shared pictures of the updated Audi S8, which they managed to photograph during winter tests.
Judging by the photos, the novelty will get a completely new grille with a mesh pattern, revised headlights and a slightly modified front bumper. In addition, the car should get other side “skirts”, another rear bumper and the old exhaust system with four pipes.
The spies could not see the interior of the new model, but it is assumed that there will be minor changes: it is quite possible that a new multimedia system will appear. It is expected that the technical equipment of the novelty will remain the same, that is, it will continue to be equipped with a 563-horsepower (800 Nm) twin-turbo V8 4.0-liter engine. On the current model, the engine works in conjunction with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system. The current car can accelerate to 96 km / h in 3.8 seconds and accelerate to a maximum of 250 km / h.
As for the date of the premiere of the upcoming updated car, it should debut in 2021.
In addition, some time ago it was noted that the new Audi RS3 will be equipped with an all-wheel drive system from the German VW Golf R Mk 8. It should be emphasized that this novelty of the German company will acquire a 5-cylinder power unit.
