Unknown company bought the drawings and documentation for the Aston Martin VanquishOctober 25, 2018
The unnamed buyer paid Aston Martin £ 20 million for technical drawings and design sketches of the Vanquish sports car, whose production has ceased this year. The transaction took place in June and included 18 months of free support from the Aston Martin Consulting consulting unit.
According to Automotive News, one of the European tuning studios could purchase drawings and sketches. In particular, the publication calls companies such as Mansory and Ares Design. Perhaps, on the basis of Vanquish, some of them are planning to build their own model. The Grand Tourer Aston Martin Vanquish was produced in the period from 2001 to 2007 and from 2012 to 2018. The latest variation of the sports car called the Vanquish S was offered with a 5.3-liter naturally-aspirated V12 engine, which recoil was 603 horsepower and 630 Nm of torque. From the spot to the “hundred”, the Vanquish S accelerated in four seconds exactly. Its maximum speed was 324 kilometers per hour.
In the summer of this year, Aston Martin introduced, in fact, the successor to the Vanquish S – 725-hp DBS Superleggera. Built on an aluminum platform supercar equipped with a 5.2-liter V12 engine and advanced aerodynamics. From a place up to 100 kilometers per hour, the DBS Superleggera accelerates in 3.4 seconds. Maximum speed – 342 kilometers per hour.
