Unique off-road buggy Porsche 911 Baja put up for saleFebruary 18, 2020
At the beginning of its life cycle, it was the classic Porsche 911, released in 1969. Then the cars were thoroughly modified to make it a worthy exhibit for the SEMA-2017 tuning show.
This unusual and daring Porsche, created to conquer the most fierce impassability, was called the “king of the dunes”. The original Porsche 911 sports car was finalized for participation in the SEMA Show by the guys from Smash Customs. Now this brutal buggy Porsche 911 Baja is looking for a new owner on eBay, writes foreign portal carscoops.com. An online auction starts tomorrow, February 19th. So far, the initial rate reaches 23,700 dollars. For this money, if no one offers more, the buyer will receive a 1969 Porsche 911 with a highly modified body and chassis, as well as custom 15-inch wheels with Maxxis Bighorn off-road tires. They perfectly rotate outside the arches, guaranteeing cars enviable driving performance.
The Porsche 911 Baja also gets a pair of LED panels and a roof rack. A “reserve” was placed here, leaving room for other useful things.
The sports car body is painted with a special matte black paint. It is used on the Stealth bomber. To get it, the developers had to contact the Air Force Department. Inside the car there is a pair of bucket seats, a sports steering wheel, a full-fledged ARC audio system, etc. The side and rear windows were removed for ventilation and for safety reasons, but the windshield has been preserved.
