Unique Carbon Pagani Huayra Roadster AuctionedDecember 23, 2019
The founder of the company, Horatio Pagani, called this model “the most complex project.”
The auction house RM Sotheby’s will auction the stunning 2018-2019 Pagani Huayra Roadster roadster. The brand presented the Huayra Roadster at the Geneva Motor Show in 2017. The model received a limited edition of one hundred copies and a new monocoque created from a special combination of composite materials, carbon fiber and titanium. Thanks to this, it was possible to make the novelty 80 kilograms lighter than the same Huayra Coupe. The roadster put up for auction is number 42. For such a sky blue Pagani Huayra they plan to help out more than $ 3 million.
The stylish roadster is powered by a 6.0-liter twin-turbo Mercedes-AMG V12 demonstrating 754 hp. power and 1000 Nm of torque. This power is transmitted to the rear wheels through a seven-speed Xtrac robotic transmission, taken from a “charged” coupe Huayra BC.
The car interior receives a luxurious combination of high-grade leather trim: most surfaces of the roadster are covered with white and brown leather.
There were some carbon fiber parts, brushed aluminum inserts and a spectacular blue stitching. Many car experts compare the flawless Pagani Huayra Roadster to a work of art. No less attractive is the fact that the car managed to drive only 320 kilometers and is still in excellent condition. This is a unique chance for those who could not buy a roadster from the factory. All one hundred copies were immediately sold out.
