Unique Cadillac CTS Sport concept will be auctionedJanuary 4, 2020
Within a couple of days, the one-of-a-kind Cadillac CTS Sport sedan will be sold at the Barrett-Jackson auction. The price is still unknown. This car is forbidden to drive on public roads.
At the annual Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA, you can find many truly rare cars. For example, last year, the first production copy of the Japanese sports coupe Toyota Supra, as well as the American muscle car Ford Mustang in the high-performance Shelby GT500, went under the hammer. These cars were sold for $ 2.1 million and $ 1.1 million, respectively.
In the photographs we published, the 2008 Cadillac CTS Sport concept car was captured and it will be auctioned in Scottsdale. Yes, this is the very instance that I participated in at the SEMA tuning exhibition in 2007.
The improved second-generation CTS boasts some improvements from the car dealership in which it was sold. It is in particular a modified hood with wire mesh inserts, carbon fiber front wing extractors, forged 20-inch wheels and high-performance brakes with painted calipers and drilled / slotted rotors. Under the hood is a powerful V6 engine with a displacement of 3.6 liters with direct fuel injection, and a 6-speed manual gearbox is proposed as a transmission.
It is a pity that this modified show car cannot drive on public roads. So, if you want to drive this car, you better have a private road at your disposal, or you can leave it as a unique decoration for your garage.
