UK police write a fine for a blogger for speeding a video from the InternetOctober 23, 2019
The police in the ceremonial county of Derbyshire, which is located in the center of Great Britain, saw the video of a blogger driving an Audi R8 coupe on the Facebook social network. It showed a clear speeding on a regular two-lane road. Taking the video as evidence, on its basis the police wrote a fine to the rider for violating traffic rules.
Blogger Joe Akilles was driving an Audi R8 and filming this. Although he did not show the speedometer, but mounted an action camera on the back of a sports car, the police still determined the speed and fined him. Thanks to the satellite, they learned the distance traveled and divided by the time of the video. In response, they learned that the driver accelerated from 93 to 150 km / h on a section of the road where there was a limit of 80 km / h.
Joe received a fine for speeding in the amount of 620 pounds, as well as six points in his driver’s license. According to local rules, if they have 12 points, the rights will be taken from the driver. Police severely condemned the actions of the blogger, believing that he had violated the rules on one of the most dangerous sections of the road in this district for the sake of likes and views.
