Ajlani Drakuma Coupe introduced in Dubai
The new brand from the UAE, Ajlani Motors, swung at the title of Arab Pagani and presented its debut project, the Drakuma hypercar, at the Dubai Motor Show. So far this is a research on design, a full-size mock-up of a mid-engined coupe, which in the future will be equipped with an engine with a capacity of more than 1200 horsepower.
Ajlani Motors is registered in Dubai. Its founder is Bashar Azhlani, whose LinkedIn profile indicates that he worked for three months as an intern at W Motors – the company became the first Middle Eastern manufacturer of supercars and is known for its Lykan HyperSport and Fenyr SuperSport models. Azhlani currently holds the position of art director at the marketing agency J. Walter Thompson MEA.
At the Dubai Motor Show, Azhlani introduced a mockup of a hypercar called Drakuma. The concept of the model is based on the predominant role of design, which is based on the appearance of a dragon – in particular, the car will have doors that look like wings of a mythical monster and fangs.
“The owners of such cars are not interested in the difference in a split second,” Azhlani says in the dynamics of hypercars. “That doesn’t bother us either.” We want to build a car that will look appropriate. ” As an example to follow, he cites Pagani.
According to preliminary information, a lot of carbon fiber will be used in the design of Ajlani Drakuma. The engine will be installed at the rear within the base. The power of the twin-turbo V8 will be about 1,200 horsepower, but the origin of this unit is not yet known.
There in Dubai, the Japanese Aspark introduced the serial version of the Owl electric coupe. She received a power plant with a capacity of 2040 horsepower and furious dynamics – up to 60 miles per hour (97 kilometers per hour), the Owl accelerates in 1.69 seconds.
