The novelty received the name Rebellion R13 and will act in the highest category of race LMP1

British company TVR has prepared a sports car for participation in races “24 Hours of Le Mans”. In these competitions, the British will act as partners of the Rebellion Racing team. The car will perform in the highest category of LMP1.

“Endurance races are a key part of the DNA of the TVR. Our partnership with Rebellion Racing gives you an excellent opportunity to go back to auto racing for the first time in 13 years, “- said TVR owner Wood Edgar.

The novelty is called Rebellion R13. The technical characteristics of the car are kept secret.

“24 Hours of Le Mans” is currently one of the oldest endurance races. Competitions are held every year since 1923. The organizer of the competition is the “West Autosport Club of France”.

The latest premiere of the TVR was the new sports car for which the classic name Griffith revived. Coupe will compete with Porsche 911, Aston Martin V8 Vantage and Jaguar F-Type. The novelty received a two-leg suspension with adjustable shock absorbers at the front and rear. The engine is installed entirely behind the front axle, due to which the engineers managed to achieve a very low center of gravity and ideal weighting on the axles – 50:50.
