Tuning studio Techart presented its version of the Porsche 911 Carrera T CoupeAugust 6, 2018
The German studio offers a package of modifications for the Porsche 911 Carrera T, which includes lightweight wheels with front tires 255/30 R21 and rear 305/25 R21 and engine control unit Techart Techtronic.
The new coupe from the German manufacturer was first shown in 2017 and still remains very attractive both externally and on technical specifications. However, for fans of all kinds of improvements, the tuning studio Techart offers a package of upgrades, with which the car will become decently more powerful.
The masters basically worked just in the engine compartment, where another control unit was installed for the base 3.6-liter six-cylinder engine. This allowed with the previous 370 hp and 450 Nm increase the return to 430 hp and 530 Nm, which made the car more powerful than the standard Carrera S.
In addition, the package includes a new active exhaust system Racing, which provides a deeper sound of the engine. Four titanium exhaust pipes are “packed” in carbon fiber, and also have electric drive valves. Masters of the studio assure that the finalized sports coupe to the 100 km/h accelerates in four seconds. And the maximum speed is able to develop up to 300 km / h.
No options were added to the tuners, leaving the concept conceived by the manufacturer. So, in the car there is initially no second row of seats, air conditioning and infotainment system, also thinner glass and noise insulation is worse. Thanks to this approach, the driver can enjoy the dynamics of the sports car and its driving qualities. The cost of this update will be 8 000 euros.
Meanwhile, Porsche is testing a prototype of the new 911 GTS, which, judging by spy photos, began to look more aggressive.
