Tuning studio Lorinser has released a package of improvements for the old Mercedes-Benz S-ClassSeptember 22, 2019
The German company Lorinser has prepared a set of improvements for the Mercedes-Benz S-Class in the back of the W221, which was discontinued in 2012.
A business generation sedan of the previous generation can acquire an aerodynamic body kit, lowered suspension and an additional 30-60 horsepower.
The power increase package can be used for most of the variations. So, tuning is subject to models such as S 250 CDI, S 320 CDI, S 350 BlueTec, S 350 CDI, S 420 CDI and S 500 CGI, and also S 63 AMG. Depending on the power unit, the output will increase from 30 to 60 hp, and torque – from 60 to 150 Nm.
For example, the diesel variation S 320 CDI, equipped with a V6 OM642 turbo engine of 3 liters with a capacity of 235 hp and a torque of 540 Nm, this package increases power to 265 hp and 605 Nm of torque. A similar gasoline version that has a 4.7-liter V8 M273 engine with 435 hp. and a torque of 700 Nm can be increased to 485 hp and 800 Nm of torque. You will have to pay 1,084 euros for such an update.
In addition to upgrading the power plant, the tuners offer S-Class owners an exterior upgrade. It should be emphasized that a new aerodynamic body kit was not created specifically for the model, so the price of a body kit 10 years ago was revised. The cost of new bumpers, side skirts, a diffuser, a radiator grille, a spoiler, an understated suspension and front fenders will be 8,070 euros
