Tuning studio ABT finalized Audi S5 and TT RSOctober 20, 2019
When it comes to Audi, ABT tuners have always offered performance packages that cater to almost every German brand model.
Fortunately, the tuner is not biased when it comes to the markets it serves, and today European and American customers can get their hands on some recently announced products. Combining the advantages of powertrains and aesthetic accessories for the Audi S5 Sportback and Audi TT RS, ABT draws on its 120 years of tradition and experience.
First of all, the recently announced diesel-powered ABT Audi S5 Sportback, limited to the European market, fell into the hands of specialists. Offering an already “formidable” soft hybrid system and a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 with a capacity of 347 horsepower, the model receives an ABT package that gives 384 horsepower. ABT’s customizable, adjustable suspension, crossbeams and 20-inch alloy wheels add visual appeal and enhance driving dynamics. A thin set of diffusers complete the look, creating a discreet sporty look.
The United States, in turn, also receives an update in the form of an Audi TT RS equipped with ABT specialists. The standard 2.5-liter five-cylinder turbocharged engine gets a significant but safe increase in power, increased to 453 hp. instead of the standard 394 horsepower. The performance of the exhaust system is tuned for better sound, and a set of 19 and 20-inch wheels add character to the model. Appearance can also be “diluted” with carbon fiber elements.
