Tuners took inspiration from classic Chevrolet and made Tahoe specialSeptember 20, 2020
The SUV that became the lot of the Mecum auction has already found its owner. This original 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe reminds us of the classic K5 Blazer and the C10 pickup.
The guys from Blain’s Hot Rods and Customs worked on this project. The firm is based in Lepanto, Arkansas. They transformed the body of the Chevrolet Tahoe SUV, bringing it as close as possible to cars of the 1960s and 1970s. So, in the process of rework, the tuners replaced the standard front panel with a new one with round headlights, a classic Chevrolet radiator grill and a cream-colored bumper.
The hood has also acquired a new shape. On the sides of the Tahoe, there are cream skirts and chrome decor. The exterior mirrors are also chromed. “Shoe” such an artificially “aged” SUV in retro wheels with the same chrome.
The upper and lower parts of the SUV are painted in Capri Cream, while the rest of the Tahoe body has been given a Granada Gold shade. Around the stern, there is a new tailgate, slim vertical taillights and a large Chevrolet lettering.
But the interior of the tuned SUV was not included in the auction photos. Obviously, it is the same as the other 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe SUVs.
The custom SUV is powered by a 5.3-liter 355-horsepower V8 with 519 Nm of torque.
Earlier, a very unusual Mercedes-Benz G-Class was seen on the roads, the main feature of which was a pickup body instead of a classic off-road one. Such a car drives on the roads of Great Britain.
