Quite a famous tuning studio Lorinser decided to return to the roots of the brutal SUV, and finalized the model Mercedes G-Class written off from service in the Swiss army.
The German studio decided to work on the 26-year-old car, having finished the military Mercedes-Benz G-Class off-road car of 1993 of release. The car has a long history of service in the Swiss army and is now for sale. According to preliminary information, the “series” will not include improvements.
It is noteworthy that this Gelandewagen was released under the brand name Punch. This brand was used for German SUVs until 2000, and was supplied to only a few countries (Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the UK and several African countries) – this additionally increases the car’s feature.
The tuners painted the whole body in a dull black color, and equipped the passenger compartment with a red canvas roof. The car itself is designed for eight seats. In addition, a new bumper was installed, an electric winch was added, and the front optics became LED.
Under the hood is installed 2.3-liter naturally aspirated engine at 116 horsepower. Together with him, the automatic transmission works in four stages and a reliable all-wheel drive system.
