Tuners make Lamborghini Urus brutal and more powerfulDecember 15, 2019
A package of improvements for the Italian SUV was developed by the German tuning studio Wheelsandmore.
Tuning SUV Lamborghini Urus must be in the portfolio of major automotive tuners. The guys from the Wheelsandmore studio did not stand aside, who added style and power to this SUV. The tuners made the main emphasis on the technical component of Urus: the SUV got a new exhaust system, as well as a modernized electronic engine control unit and catalyst. Through the efforts of German tuners, the power of the 4.0-liter Twin-Turbo V8 was increased to 808 hp. and 972 Nm of torque. For comparison, the production Lamborghini Urus is equipped with a 650-horsepower engine.
It turns out that a tuned Urus with a boosted engine can boast better performance than the Aventador SVJ supercar.
The exterior of the SUV is designed in black – in gloss or matte with rare but effective contrasting accents. For example, yellow brake calipers. All this makes the Lamborghini Urus more brutal. Also, the SUV relies on wide-ranging 23-inch wheels, shod in 295/35 and 335/30 Continental UHP tires. The cost of a set of wheels is 9,999 euros.
The upgrade of the technical part is estimated at 2,521–5,469 euros. For the new exhaust system you will have to pay 4,029 euros. Another expense item is the suspension module for 1,679 euros. It allows using a special application on a smartphone to adjust the ground clearance of an SUV.
