Tuners from the United States turned the sports car Nissan Silvia in the off-road pickupMay 5, 2019
An unusual interpretation of the once popular sport coupe is once again looking for a new owner. The first time the announcement of the sale of an unusual pickup appeared in the 2016th.
In the US, a group of local tuners thoroughly worked on the model Nissan Silvia, produced from 1965 to 2002. The results of their work can be seen on the Reddit social network, where photos of the converted sport coupe were published. After a serious and time-consuming upgrade, the Nissan Silvia turned into a real pickup with a good set of off-road characteristics. The cost to the authors of this bold project was such an alteration, and how much time they had to spend on all this is not known.
To bring their ideas to life, American tuners thoroughly worked on the roof of the car, more than half of which had to be cut. The cabin from the resulting “trunk”, by the way, very roomy, separated with glass.
In the process, the master also expanded the wheel arches. After that, they were able to equip the newly-made pickup truck with large off-road tires. Another important procedure, without which it was impossible to count on success, is the refinement of the suspension. How happened the fate of such an unusual car, the Web is not reported.
