Tuners from ABT modernize Audi A1 SportbackSeptember 30, 2019
Tuner-studio ABT Sportsline introduced a modified Audi A1 Sportback.
ABT guys gave the car a 2.0-liter TFSI powertrain from the TT Cup race car. Now it is capable of delivering 310 hp. on its 4 cylinders, however, there is a function of excessive acceleration, which allows you to temporarily receive another 30 hp, which in total is 340 hp, while the torque reaches 400 Nm.
Audi A1 Sportback got forged 19-inch wheels and 55 mm widened rear fenders. The doors at the back were brewed, and a massive wing was installed behind them. In the rear bumper you can now find a massive diffuser and two exhaust pipes. Something more than wider wings and new nozzles was added to the body kit, as some other parts were removed or completely redesigned, including the hood and even the side mirror covers.
How do you like the two-tone coloring? This is a kind of symbiosis of the black and white RS6 with Avant Phoenix, created by ABT for John Olsson in 2018. The salon also could not do without some changes, since the rear seats were removed to make room for the frame, and in front appeared sports seats and a steering wheel from a racing sports car.
Alcantara was used in the decoration. The tuners still have some work to do, namely, tuning the suspension and final tuning of the unit, but everything else has been completed. Since this is a one-time project, the car is not for sale.
