Tuners finalized BMW M340i sedan and station wagonApril 23, 2020
Atelier G-Power showed a package of improvements for the Bavarian model.
Even in the basic configuration, the latest generation BMW M340i xDrive is quite powerful. Its 3.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine develops 382 horsepower and 500 Newton meters of torque, which are sent to all four wheels, the car accelerates from zero to hundreds in just 4.4 seconds.
However, the tuning studio G-Power believes that this is not enough. They released proprietary tuning packages for the G20 / G21 duo in the form of the M340i xDrive.
For starters, there is an entry-level GP-420 package that boosts power to 420 hp. and 600 Nm. This is a purely software “massage” for the motor without hardware updates.
If you need more power, you will have to purchase the GP-470 kit, which also includes a high-performance exhaust system with a new catalytic converter for 470 hp peak power. and 650 Nm of torque.
This brings us to the leading offer – the so-called GP-510, which, as its name implies, increases power to an incredible 510 hp. and 690 Nm. This is made possible by new engine management software and a larger turbocharger in addition to the previously mentioned hardware updates.
G-Power even offers to develop a top speed of up to 330 km / h. As for acceleration, the basic package promises acceleration to 100 km / h in 4.0 seconds, and the GP-470 drops below the four-second mark (3.8 seconds). The maximum package gives an indicator of 3.7 seconds.
