Tuners add power to BMW M8 Competition supercarAugust 25, 2020
Thanks to improvements, the output of the most powerful version has increased by almost 100 horsepower. In addition, the supercar has received some more innovations.
German tuners from AC Schnitzer presented their own version of the BMW M8. The production version of the most powerful Competition version reaches 625 hp. at 750 Nm of torque. Thanks to a package of improvements, the output of the power unit will reach 720 hp. at 850 Nm of torque. The owners of the basic versions of the BMW M8, under the hood of which there is an engine with a capacity of 600 hp, were also not spared. The output of such engines can be increased to 700 hp, and the maximum torque will increase from 750 Nm to 850 Nm.
Also, the tuned BMW M8 will receive a proprietary AC Schnitzer exhaust system with two flaps. In addition to redesigning the engines, the BMW M8 received new springs, which reduced the front suspension by 20 mm and the rear by 15 mm. According to the tuners, this not only gives a more spectacular appearance, but also has a good effect on cornering at high speed.
From the exterior, we note the thresholds made of carbon fiber, the original rear spoiler, as well as 21-inch rims.
But the interior of the supercar was decided to remain unchanged.
Meanwhile, Toyota Land Cruiser Prado received a compressor kit from the Japanese tuning studio Blitz. Modification is intended for cars with a 2.7-liter engine with a return of 163 horsepower. Thanks to the innovation, the power plant will become more efficient.
