Tuners add catchy accents to Ford Mustang Mach-EJanuary 25, 2021
The custom electrocross Ford Mustang Mach-E gets a widebody kit and new wheels from Motion R Design.
Lancashire-based Motion R Design specializes in body kits and interior upgrades for Ford Transit vans and Ranger pickups. However, their latest project is based on a completely different model – Ford’s Mustang Mach-E electric car. The design of the electrocross has received many improvements. The most notable innovations are eye-catching custom wheels and a widebody kit.
The latter includes new wheel arches, bumpers and side skirts. Forged carbon or traditional carbon fiber can be used to make such a kit. Also, the battery-powered SUV gets a spoiler on the tailgate and an original grille with a matte black finish.
The interior of the car was probably also finalized. However, the alteration is not reflected in the official photographs. Most likely, the electric car will receive Nappa leather upholstery, as well as a carbon fiber steering wheel with a flat bottom.
Optionally, door cards can be decorated with carbon. Specifications have hardly changed.
Recall that the “charged” version of the Mach-E, called the GT Performance Edition, produces 480 horsepower. Up to a hundred such an electric car will accelerate in just 3.5 seconds.
Earlier it was reported that the delivery of an electric Ford Mustang-E was postponed. We are talking about a batch of several hundred machines in which defects were found. True, no official confirmation of this data has yet been reported.
