Tuner SVE introduced a highly modernized pickup GMC SycloneJune 19, 2020
American truck SVE Syclone 2021 model year received a 750-horsepower V8 engine and AWD automatic all-wheel drive system. In total, 50 copies of the news will be released.
A little over a year ago, Specialty Vehicle Engineering from New Jersey (USA) introduced a modernized version of the GMC Syclone pickup truck, which was based on the mid-size GMC Canyon. It had a turbocharged 3.6-liter V6 with 455 horsepower, which represents a major upgrade from the original 280-horsepower created by the 4.3-liter turbocharged V6. At this time, the power of GMC Syclone in the version from SVE will be provided by a 5.5-liter supercharged V8.
Atelier specialists increased engine power to 750 hp. (813 Nm).
All this power is transmitted to both axles through an eight-speed automatic transmission (8L90E), which has been “completely modernized.”
The high-performance truck of model year 2021 uses reinforced front and rear drive shafts and a rear-shift transfer case, sending 62% of the torque to the rear wheels. The full amount of torque can be sent to rolling front or rear wheels if necessary.
The SVE Syclone 2021 comes with additional upgrades over the regular Canyon on which it is based, including a stainless steel dual exhaust system and improved front brakes. The truck was lowered five centimeters in the front and 12.7 cm in the rear, thanks to the sports suspension, which comes with new shock absorbers. A heavy-duty rear anti-roll bar, traction bar and bushings complete the mechanical changes.
SVE also replaces the original wheels with a 20-inch set of forged aluminum wheels with a black satin finish that you will also notice on the exhaust tips. “Alloys” also have a red stripe and are “covered” with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV tires of size 285/45 R20 on both axles.
The circulation of Syclone 2021 will be only 50 copies, and they will come with a 3-year / 57 936 km warranty.
