Public debut of the car took place during the visit of the US President to New York
New limousine Donald Trump photographed about the time of the visit of the US President to New York. The public debut of the Cadillac, also known as The Beast, took place at Manhattan’s central helicopter station.
The readiness of the new machine and its transfer to the US Secret Service was reported in April. The former head of Cadillac, Johan de Naissen, in an interview with Fox News, said that the company had fulfilled all the terms of the contract and handed the car over to the client. Entering the “Beast” into operation was planned for late summer this year.
The Beast is built on the platform of a heavy pickup truck. Passengers of the machine are inside the armored capsule, equipped with a fire fighting system and protecting against chemical and biological weapons. In addition, the limousine is equipped with a night vision system, special suspension, reinforced kevlar tires, smoke cannons and a protection system that transmits electric charge through the door handles.
