Track Porsche for 700 thousand euros dressed in the iconic racing liveryMay 17, 2019
Exclusive supercar Porsche 935, which is estimated at 702 thousand euros, can be ordered in seven classic colorings. Each of them imitates the livery of one of the teams that successfully performed on the historic racing model.
The team of stylists led by the new 935th designer Grant Larsson calls his work “a new interpretation of the bygone era of motor sport.” Each livery is a tribute to the team that won the 935th race. Among them: Porsche Salzburg Team – the first brand victory in the overall Le Mans 1970, and Kremer Racing – the winner of the 1979 marathon.
The modern Porsche 935 is built on a civilian 911 GT2 RS. The design of the supercar is based on the style of the legendary Leby model 935/78 Moby Dick. The car’s body is made of carbon fiber, the exhaust is titanium, imitating the Porsche 908, and the interior décor is styled as a Porsche 917. A 3.8-liter twin-turbo boxer from the 911 GT2 RS is installed at the back. The unit produces 700 forces and 750 Nm of torque. Gearbox – seven-speed robotized PDK with two clutches. The mass of the sports car is 1380 kilograms against 1470 kilograms of the original GT2 RS.
Total brand will build 77 copies of the supercar. The first cars will be delivered to owners in June.
